I'm Sam, I go by Spam/Spammalammy on the internet, I'm an artist, a streamer and a content creator.

About Me

I'm hugely passionate about creativity, community and mental health. These things inspire everything I do and all I create from my Animal Affirmation art series to the 'How I love Myself' presentation video. Whether it's normalising talking about my brain's ups and downs on stream or making art out of something that has helped me grow stronger. I share it on the internet to connect with others and because it might just help someone on their own journey.

Community

I am currently exploring what community means and what it can be for me. I love the sense of welcome and belonging I feel in the interconnected web of discord servers I'm a part of. Equally, there's something special in turning up to a market early in the morning and being one of the many creative small business owners setting up their table for the day. All working towards the same goal and wishing each other well. Or going to my local library and exploring all the clubs and communities that are on offer in my local area. I have made so many amazing friends through other creators communities and feel so excited and privileged to have the opportunity to form my own.

Why build my own website?

Empowerment. It can feel lonely and disheartening to be beholden to huge corporations' algorithms on social media. This website is my way of claiming back control of my presence on the internet. It allows me to display my creativity and unique voice. I have full ownership and control of this space and that's both nerve-wracking and thrilling! I hope you find something here that can help you, inspire you or just provide a cozy space to spend some time.
